What We Do
The core product provided by iCardiogram is UltraLinq, a web-based subscription service designed to simplify the transfer, reading, reporting, distribution and archiving of ultrasound studies. We abandon the traditional model of closed-end, high-cost, local network PACS, in exchange for our open-end, low-cost, web-based solution that allows authorized users to access the system from any place, at any time.
UltraLinq eliminates the common office and ultrasound system limitations, allowing sonographers, interpreting physicians, referring physicians, hospitals, and administrators to work seamlessly without physical or system boundaries.
The UltraLinq service begins when the sonographer initiates a simple transfer of a study from the ultrasound machine to our secure, HIPAA-compliant server. There is no need for an in-house technology infrastructure - simply access to a broadband connection. Along with the images, patient demographic and study measurement data is also transferred from most digital ultrasound machines, generating a pre-populated sonographer worksheet or preliminary report.
A registered interpreting physician can then log in to the UltraLinq portal from virtually any computer with broadband access. The physician can easily complete the report, utilizing smart-logic templates, within a matter of minutes. There is no need for dictation, transcription or a complicated review process - all tools are accessible to the physician enabling efficient completion of reports. Once the report has been electronically signed, automatic distribution of that report to the referring physician(s) via fax, e-mail, PDF or HL-7 transfer occurs.
The studies remain easily accessible on the UltraLinq portal for seven years (or longer, if required by regulation or law).
Throughout the entire process, should any questions or issues arise, UltraLinq's in-house support is available, by phone or e-mail, during extended business hours. Further, support is available at all times for emergency situations.
